The Scootacar
Allegedly the Scootacar came about because the wife of one of the directors of Hunslet Engine Company, in Leeds, found her Jaguar too hard to park. More likely is the company wanted to jump into the micro or bubble car … Continue reading

Vintage Japanese Iron – Mazda 808 coupe
Fantastic looking Mazda 808 (like RX-3 with a piston engine). 5spd too – a lot of survivors are automatics. Very 70s with slot mag wheels, stripes and vinyl roof. http://lethbridge.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-Mazda-808-2dr-for-sale-W0QQAdIdZ232125560

Mitsubishi Debonair on eBay
This Mitsubishi Debonair is a new on to me. Looks slightly reminiscent of a scaled down full size Chrysler. I’d expect a full, proper restoration would not be cost effective but a resto-mod with some more modern compnents swapped while … Continue reading

Find of week: 1980 Suzuki Jimny LJ80
Came across this very rare 1980 Suzuki Jimny LJ80. Suzuki only sold the LJ80 for one year in Canada before replacing it with the larger Samurai. It has a four stroke 797cc four cylinder engine.

Demolition Derby
I have never attended a demolition derby before but always had mixed feelings about them. They do look like a lot of fun but the destruction of cars always seems to be a waste. But generally these are cars that … Continue reading
