A couple of old Ford trucks spottings
I spotted this old Ford pickup truck outside a repair shop in an industrial area perhaps waiting its turn to be restored. This one is a F-68 which was the Canadian naming system for a while. The 68 stands for … Continue reading
Well travelled Volkswagen van
We recently had a weekend away in Banff, Alberta. Our drive was a handful of hours but nothing compared to the folks in this classic VW van. With Colorado plates it would have had a drive of at least a … Continue reading
International R-series trucks
I recently came across two classic International R-series trucks. A matched set of an excavator and dump truck.

Never knew they existed: Dodge Power Wagon Top Hand
Factory special trucks from Dodge are nothing new with the famous Lil’ Red Express and somewhat lesser known Warlock and The Dudge. Hemmings Blog has highlighted this fantastic 1978 Dodge Power Wagon Top Hand truck.

1974 Renault Gordini 17
Here is a car that rarely comes up for sale – a 1974 Renault Gordini 17. Of all the 1970s Renaults I’ve seen come up for sale in the last few years have all been the Gordini version which makes … Continue reading

Austin Bantam based roadster
Check out this Austin Bantam based roadster on eBay. It is based off the mechanical underpinnings of a 1940 Austin Bantam with a fiberglass body. The body looks very much like a pint sized Woodill Wildfire. Not bad thing at … Continue reading

1972 Mazda B-series truck
These earlier B-series trucks are rarely seen anymore. This one is a 1972 which I believe would make it a B1600 with the same 1.6L four cylinder NA family engine as my 808. Price is cheap at $350 and would … Continue reading
