FB Rx-7 wheels now on my 808 Coupe!
To use first generation Rx-7 wheels on a Mazda 808/818/Rx-3 you need a thin spacer. Otherwise the wheel hits the caliper. This one is 5/16″ thick and I used lug bolts off a 70s BMW 320i. The back doesn’t need a spacer. Or at least my didn’t. Oddly the front uses lug bolts and the rear uses lug nuts. The rear might look better with a spacer on too but the lugs aren’t long enough to use one.
So what do you like better the 70s slot mags or the Rx-7 rims? I think I like the white letter tires better but the slot mag rims. Car feels a bit more stable with the Rx-7 rims and its wider rubber though.
