Lately I’ve been reading Cars I’ve Loved and Hated – Michael Lamm’s Unauthorized Auto Biography on the Hemmings Blog. He is a fantastic writer who co-founded Special-Interest Autos and was a managing editor at Motor Trend. His tales are fantastic and from an era I never got to experience. His car ownership philosophy is similar to mine – preserve the unloved and get learning from each car owned. I recommend you start with Chapter One and book off a bit of time as you get sucked in.
